Fabiana Mertová graduated master degree in the Department of Photograpy at FAMU in Prague from studio intermedia and postconceptual photography.
She was studying in Jerusalem at school Bezalel the department of photography. She attended classes of Štepánka Šimlová, Jiří Thýn, Nir Evron, Muhamad Jabali, Chen Shapira, Ben Dov.
Fabiana deals in her projects with photography, collages, manipulation of technical images and video. In the last projects she started to depict the creation of the preformance and she intends to continue in this theme.

MgA Fabiana Hrubiš Mertová (*1989) je fotografka a video-artistka.
Vystudovala magisterský obor fotografie na pražské FAMU.
Při sudiích absolvovala studijní stáž v Jeuzalémě na Bezalel academy (2015) obor fotografie a také pracovní stáž v Berlíně (2017)
a jako střední školu vystudovala Helichovku, obor užitá fotografie.
V současné době se věnuje hlavně focení portrétů/ a hereckých headshotů, natáčí dokumentační videa a fotografuje akce, příležitostně fotografuje u filmu a nebo fotografuje produkty.
V umělecké tvorbě tvorbě se věnuje konceptuální fotografii a video-artu.
Dříve pracovala například jako fotograf divadelních inscenací pro NoD,
fotograf a redaktor pro neziskové noviny Nový Prostor a magazín About.
Fotograf pro Národní galerii. Editor a fotograf pro castingovou agenturu Jam Casting. Spolupráce s taneční skupinou 420 people a 10 let měla kapelu Papírové Panenky, kde hrála na basovou kytaru.
Fabiana žije a pracuje Praze, kde má v centru města svůj foto-ateliér.

MgA Fabiana Hrubiš Mertová (*1989) is a photographer and video-artist based in Prague, Czech Republic in 2017 finished MA studies at Department of Photography of FAMU (Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts) in Prague.
She absolvated a study internship at Jerusalem at Bezalel academy (2015), and also a work-internship in Berlin (2017).
Fabiana is freelance photographer specialized in portrait/ headshot photography, reportage and product photography.
Sometimes she is also working as "behind the scene film" photographer.
At her art work she is focused to conceptual photography and video art.
In the past she worked as protographer for theater NoD. She worked also as a photographer and editor for About magazine and the non-profit newspaper Nový Prostor. She also collaborated with a dance group called 420 people. she had band Papírový Panenky for 10 years.
Recently, she has also been creating video projections for his husband, artist and musician Tomáš Hrubiš for his experimental piano concerts. Fabiana lives and works in Prague, where she has her own photo studio in the city center.
